AP PECET 2019 means Physical Education Common Entrance Test. This is conducted to get admissions in B.P.Ed and U.G.D.P.Ed. PECET is conducted by APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education).

The aspirations of  Southern Coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh  encouraged to establish Acharya Nagarjuna University. From few years, this Physical Education Common Entrance Test is being conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University.

The candidates can join in Physical Education course even after Intermediate and Degree. How to apply for AP PECET 2019?

The candidates can apply for PECET exam only through online mode only. Also the candidate should pay the registration fee through AP Online or Payment Gate ways (Credit card/ Debit Card/Net Banking). The candidate can submit the application through the official websitesche.ap.gov.in/PECET.

Eligibility Criteria for AP PECET 2019:

The aspirants of Andhra Pradesh PECET can apply only if the candidate satisfies the following eligibility criteria:

  • The candidate must be an Indian National.
  • Also the candidate must satisfy the Local or Non-Local Status laid down in Andhra Pradesh educational Institutions Order. The candidate must belong to Andhra Pradesh.
  • If the Degree candidate is desirous to apply for U.G.D.P.Ed, then he or she should use the Intermediate hall ticket number during payment of registration fee and select the qualifying exam as Intermediate.
  • If the candidate wants to apply for both U.G.D.P.Ed and B.P.Ed, he or she should pay two registration fees and select the appropriate qualifying exam
  • Te physical education teachers who are in-service are intended to study B.P.Ed or U.G.D.P.Ed , they need not to apply for any exam conducted by AP PECET convener. They can directly apply by meeting the Director of School Education.

Examination scheme for Andhra Pradesh PECET 2019:

The candidates can join the B.P.Ed or U.G.D.P.Ed course by writing the common entrance test. This test is conducted with two parts.

  1. The Physical Efficiency Test – 400 marks.
  2. Skill test in Game – 100 Marks.
  3. The Physical efficiency Test (400 marks):

Marks for the exam will be awarded by using the conversion tables approved by the AP PECET convener.

The candidates should select Long jump or high jump while applying for the examination. It cannot be changed during the exam.

  • Skill Test in Game (100 marks):

The candidate should select any one of the game listed below.

  • If the candidate did not select any game, he or she loses the 100 Marks since they are not allowed for exam.
  • If the candidate chooses more than one game is also not allowed for the skill test.
  • The candidate is not permitted to change the game during exam. It should be selected during application.

Original certificates to be shown at the entrance test:

The candidates should produce the following certificates during the entrance exam.

  • Sports Merit certificate
  • NCC certificate ( C certificate or B certificate)
  • Pass Certificates from any of the following courses: U.G.D.P.Ed, Yoga, NIS, Sports management, Sports science, Sports journalism, Olympic Education etc.,
  • One set of Xerox copies of the above certificates along with hall ticket downloaded.

How to download AP PECET 2019 Hall ticket?

The candidate can download the hall ticket of AP PECET 2019 from the official website sche.ap.gov.in/PECET. The candidate should click on download hall tickets of AP PECET 2019. Also you should take printout of the hall ticket for attending the exam and also it should be stored for further purpose.

Qualifying marks for AP PECET 2019:

The candidate should secure a minimum of 30% from the aggregate marks (400+100) to be qualified in the examination. There are no qualifying marks for Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Caste.

  • There will be no option for retotalling, revaluation etc., since every care will be taken during evaluation.

PECET 2019 Results, Merit List and Assigning Ranks:

  1. The candidate can check their results from the official website.
  2. Rank will be assigned based on Physical Efficiency Test.
  3. If there is a tie, then Skill testy in game is considered.
  4. If still tie is there, then date of birth and age is considered and then rank is allotted.
  5. Rank card can be downloaded from the website sche.ap.gov.in/PECET

Incentive Marks: Incentive marks upto 100 will also awarded for the candidates based on the certificates issued by the authorities or bodies.
